I really like the moment you captured here. Full of innocence and curiosity; the little child reaching out to a new friend. The focus really helps concentrate the viewer's attention on the main points of interest in the picture and the vibrant, blurred colors of the background give the picture a bit of a whimsical feel, like a childhood memory. Very effective shot!
